One of the newest members of the Indians is NOW one of the newest citizens of the United States.

Yasiel Puig, who is just coming off of serving a three-game suspension for fighting in his last game with the Reds, and who defected from Cuba in 2012, became an American citizen on Wednesday.

The slugging outfielder posted this photo to Twitter Wednesday:
