The Akron Zoo is offering local students in grades 5-12 a chance to be a zoo professional for a day.  Zoorific Career Days will be offered nine different days and runs from 9am to 3pm.  Participants will be able to spend time with keepers, animal trainers and education staff to learn about what it is like to work at a zoo.  Zoorific Career Days will be offered March 25, April 1,3,10,15 & 17 for students in grades 7-12 and April 2,9, 16 for kids in grades 5-6.  Registration is required and the cost of the program, which includes lunch at the zoo, is $35 per student.  For more information or to register, call 330-375-2250, ext. 7339 or register on line at www.akronzoo.org.
