Akron Is Clean Up Akron Month

Please join Keep Akron Beautiful (KAB) this April to help clean up your city! Keep Akron Beautiful has been working with volunteers to clean up Akron for 34 years! REGISTER NOW for our biggest event of the year! The first 1,000 registered volunteers will receive free admission to the Akron Zoo Super Saturday on April 25, along with lunch and an awards ceremony! WHO: Anyone who wants to volunteer to keep their city beautiful. WHAT: A community improvement program that takes place in Akron, OH to pick up litter and debris. WHEN: Choose ANY day in the month of April 2015. WHERE: Any public plan in the City of Akron. You choose your site! Your neighborhood park, the street you live on, your school, etc. Ask the KAB staff if you have a question about a certain area! WHY: As the snow melts and spring is in the air, we need civic organizations and individual volunteers to help pick up litter and illegal dumping.
