Join us for the 29th Annual Akron Great Strides walk, sponsored by Charles River and Akron Children’s Hospital at the Akron Zoo! The event consists of a leisurely 5K walk route through the zoo grounds, with water/snack stations along the way. All participants will enjoy breakfast & snacks, and family-friendly entertainment! Anyone can join in the fun of Great Strides 2017, including corporate teams, schools, friends, family and business associates. We expect that more than 400 participants will come out in support of our cause and celebrate our fundraising success. A NOTE REGARDING ADMISSION INTO THE ZOO
We ask that each participant collect at least $50 in donations for free admission to the zoo; tickets are available at a discounted rate for those who do not reach this minimum. All participants will get to enjoy the remainder of the day at the zoo once all walk festivities are complete!
