The woman driving the car that struck and killed two 14 year old girls, and seriously injured a 15 year old boy in Coventry on May 28th--has been charged with a number of crimes in connection with that incident--including texting while driving.

24 year old Natasha Boggs of New Franklin, is also charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter, two counts of vehicular homicide, one count of tampering with records, and one count of vehicular assault, and a charge related to marked lanes.

The teens were walking along the side of the road on South Main, when the accident ocurred.

Boggs was arrested today by the Summit County Sheriff's office.

VIDEO Green, Coventry Burglar Sought

The Summit County Sheriff's Office hopes some surveillance video helps them catch a burglar.

There have been several homes hit in the Green and Coventry Township areas recently, where someone forced open a door or window after checking the homes.

Jewelry, cell phones and other electronics were stolen.

The video below is from a burglary in Green on October 8th.

(Summit County Sheriff's Office, news release) The Summit County Sheriff's Office is investigating several residential burglaries that have occurred within the City of Green and Coventry Township. These burglaries occurred during daytime and early evening hours. The suspect or suspects knocked on doors, checked the residence for occupants, and subsequently forced open a door or window. The suspect(s) has been entering the residences and stealing jewelry, cell phones, and other electronics.

On October 8, 2016, at approximately 7:51 p.m., a white male described as having short hair, approximately 6'0 in height, a heavy build, wearing black clothing and a black cap entered onto the front porch of a house in the City of Green. The suspect was captured on security footage as he entered onto the front porch and rang the front doorbell. The suspect momentarily left the front porch before returning and kicking the front door open. The suspect then entered the house and exited the through the front door a short time later.

The Sheriff's Office is seeking assistance in identifying the suspect captured on the home security camera footage. If anyone has information on the identity of this suspect, please contact the Summit County Sheriff's Office at 330-643-2131 or Crime Stoppers at 330-434-2677.
