There were plenty of local connections at the Republican National Convention, especially since it was held just a few minutes up I-77 in Cleveland. But who from the Akron area made the trip east on I-76 to Philadelphia for the DNC?

Isabel Framer from Copley did, and she joined the Ray Horner Morning Show to talk about her experiences. Isabel is part of the DNC board of directors at-large, and she discussed being present for Hillary Clinton accepting the presidential nomination, as well as the unity between Clinton’s and Bernie Sanders’s camp.

The Copley superdelegate was one of the few local connections in Philadelphia, with a list that included Senator Sherrod Brown and Congressman Tim Ryan.

The Former Ohio Governor spoke to the Ohio Delegation Thursday morning, ahead of the final night of the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia. He touched on the race for the White House, Donald Trump, and the "all-important" Senate race in Ohio.

 

Ohio Democratic Party chairman David Pepper joined The Jasen Sokol Show to talk about whether the Democratic Party is unifying in Philadelphia and preview the speeches by Vice President Joe Biden, President Barack Obama, and Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine.
