Canton Rape Suspect Nabbed In Georgia

The man accused of raping a woman after abducting her at Aultman Hospital has been caught - in Georgia.

The Repository reports that 30 year-old Norman L. Pryor was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force at an Atlanta library.

Canton police weren't alone in looking for Pryor.

Jackson Township had warrants on gross sexual imposition and public indecency charges. Sheriff's departments in Stark and Muskingum counties had warrants for failing to register address changes as a sex offender.

Police say the victim was abducted from a parking lot on the Aultman campus early Monday, and later sexually assaulted.

Pryor is expected to be extradited to Stark County, where he'll face a $7 million bond.
