Browns Garrett Appealing Suspension

Browns Defensive End Myles Garrett is appealing his indefinite suspension after Thursday night's on-field fight between him and Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph.

According to NFL Insider Ian Rapoport, Garrett and his representation may have found a loophole in the League's Collective Bargaining Agreement that doesn't allow indefinite suspensions for on-field acts.

Garrett is the talk of the NFL after he ripped off Rudolph's helmet with just 8 seconds left in Thursday's Browns win over the Steelers, and then clubbed him over the head with it. On Friday the NFL suspended Garrett without pay indefinitely.

KSU Football Player Suspended

A Kent State football player has been suspended from the team after kidnapping charges.

Senior Nate Holley is off the team indefinitely facing first degree felony kidnapping charges, in a case involving a female last week in Franklin Township.

That's according to the Record Courier.

Cleveland.com reports that he's posted 10 percent of a $50,000 bond and has been ordered to stay at Akron's Oriana House.

Holley has a preliminary hearing set for Thursday in Ravenna.

Kent State has confirmed the suspension, and say they are taking the matter "very seriously".
