Dr. Green also talked about politics in the age of Donald Trump and mentioned the slate of candidates on the Democratic ticket.

Ray Horner Podcast - 11/13/2018

:17 - A name that is no stranger to Ohio, as well as 1590 WAKR, is Senator Sherrod Brown. Could he be the next presidential candidate for the Democrats? Dr. David Cohen from the University of Akron’s Bliss Institute shared his thoughts on the long-time senator.

8:08 - Another person who isn’t a stranger to these parts is Jim Trout from Acme Fresh Markets. In addition to his duties at Acme, Trout is the honorary chairman of the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle campaign, and he stopped by the studio to talk about it.

15:12 - Dr. Tim Brown normally joins us once a month on Mondays (he’ll be on next Monday the 19th), but he called in to talk about a heart medication recall.

21:16 - Open enrollment for the 2019 marketplace has begun, and will continue through December 15th. Anne Armao from Summa Health joined us for some more information.

29:18 - The Browns took care of the Falcons on Sunday, 28-16. Fred Greetham from the Orange & Brown Report recapped the contest and looks ahead as the Browns cruise into the bye week.
