The suspect in last week's shooting outside of a Summit Lake convenience store is this week's Fugitive of the Week.

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is now looking for 24-year-old Eugene Wells, who is wanted for the murder of Walter Matthews Junior, who was shot and killed in broad daylight on Monday, June 3rd.

Wells is a black male, standing approximately 5 feet 11 inches and weighing 165 pounds. His last known address is near the 100 block of Fulton Street, Akron, Ohio.

Wells is to be considered armed and dangerous.

Akron Police, U.S. Marhals, and the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force are looking for the public's help finding this week's Fugitive of the Week, 26-year-old Chris Johnson. 

According to a press release, Johnson is wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service and APD for the murder of Brandon Belleville back on September 19, 2017. 

No details related to the murder have been released, but Johnson (pictured) has been described as a black male, about 5 feet, 6 inches tall, around 230 pounds, with a last known address in the 1300 block of Andrus Street in Akron.

ARRESTED: Fugitive of the Week Caught

Update: Wednesday afternoon, members of the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested Randy Fitzgerald on a traffic stop on Route 8 in Macedonia.

The task force was assisted by officers from Boston Heights, the Summit Count Sheriff's Office and the Macedonia Police Department.

Although several tips were submitted on this case, the arrest was not a result of a tip.

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is looking for Randy Fitzgerald, of Akron, who is this week's Fugitive of the Week.

U.S. Marshals and Akron Police are reporting that Fitzgerald is wanted for Weapons Under Disability in connection to an incident that left a small child shot in the stomach.

Back on May 20th, three children, ages 8,9 and 12, were left alone in a home on Marcy Street, when one of those children found one a gun, believed to belong to Fitzgerald, and shot another child in the stomach. The child lived. In the home, responding officers found another gun, drugs, and body armor. A warrant was issued for Fitzgerald who has been on the run since.

FOW: Akron Man Wanted in August Rape

The Akron Police Department, U.S. Marshals, and the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force are asking the public's help finding Coren Harris Sr., who they say is wanted for kidnapping and rape. 

Harris Sr. (pictured) is wanted for the rape of a woman at his last known address on Cuyahoga Street in Akron back in August. 

He's a 43-year-old black male, about 6 foot 1 inch, weighing about 250 pounds. 

Akron Police detectives believe that Harris Sr. is still in or around the Akron area and consider him to be armed and dangerous.

FOW: Akron Man Sought in July Murder

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Bryan Esters.

Esters is wanted by the United States Marshals Service and the City of Akron Police for Murder and Felonious Assault. Esters is believed to have committed the homicide in the 300 block of Pioneer Street, Akron, OH that occurred on July 1, 2018. Esters, 33, is a black male, standing approximately 5 feet 8 inches and weighing 190 pounds.

Esters has ties throughout Akron area but his last known address is the 600 Block of Fern St. Akron. He should be considered armed and dangerous.

Fugitive of the Week Out of Stark County

Update: 

This week's Fugitive of the Week, Jessie Lee Butler III was apprehended by the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force in the 800 block of Wales Rd. NE on Tuesday afternoon. 

Another man, Rushon Patterson, was arrested at the home Butler was found at, on obstruction charges. Patterson was found hiding in the attic of the home.

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Jessie Lee Butler III.

Butler III is wanted by the United States Marshals Service and the Stark County Sheriff’s Office for complicity to discharge a firearm into a habitation and tampering with evidence. Butler III is accused of being in a vehicle that was used in a drive-by shooting into an occupied residence. He is also accused of washing the vehicle to remove gunshot residue.

The shooting happened on May 22, 2018 at a home in the 2500 block of 45th Street NW in Canton Ohio.

Butler III, 21, is a black male, standing approximately 5 feet11 inches and weighing 176 pounds. BUTLER III is known to frequent the Canton and Louisville areas. FOTW: Police Looking for Medina Co. Man

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for this week's Fugitive of the Week, 59-year-old Charles "Tony" Miller.

The U.S. Marshals Office out of Cleveland say that Miller, whose last known address was along Avon Lake Rd. in Litchfield, Ohio, is wanted for the shooting death of a man in the Steelyard Commons parking lot back on October 27th, of last year.

Miller is a listed at 6 feet, 6 inches tall, weighing about 250 pounds, and is possibly driving either a full size van or a blue Mercury Grand Marquis with an Ohio temp tag or a Georgia license plate.

This week's Fugitive of the Week, courtesy of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is Thomas Kellwood, 36, who's wanted by the U.S. Marshals and Lodi Police on a domestic violence warrant.

Kellwood's alleged to have assaulted several members of his family, including his mother, and 2 children under 16-years-old. Kellwood is listed 5'6", and about 125 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes and it possibly in Lodi or Rittman. If you see Kellwood, call 911.

Akron Fugitive Turns Himself In

Akron Police and the U.S. Marshals Office say Kenneth Lindsey, 28, of Akron, has turned himself in on a murder warrant. 

On Wednesday April 19th, police say Lindsey and 32-year-old Reginald Edwards were involved in an argument outside of Lindsey's home on Pine Knolls Drive. During the argument Lindsey pulled out a gun and shot Edwards in the chest. Lindsey then fled the scene. 

Edwards, meanwhile, was transported to Akron City Hospital where he was pronounced dead. 

Lindsey had been on the run since the shooting, but on Tuesday, he turned himself in to Akron Police with his lawyer. 

Lindsey is charged with the murder of Reginald Edwards.

Fugitive Of The Week: Akron Murder Suspect

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force has named Kenneth Lindsey of Akron this week's Fugitive of the Week. 

Lindsey is wanted in connection to a murder last week on Pine Knolls Drive. It happened Wednesday morning around 7 a.m. Police say it started as a verbal argument and then Lindsey allegedly shot the victim in the chest. 

U.S. Marshals say Lindsey is likely hiding out in the Akron area. They're offering a reward for any information leading to Lindsey's arrest.

Fugitive Of The Week Busted Near Cleveland

Update: Michael Cleveland was arrested at a motel in Middleburg Hts. Tuesday.

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Michael Cleveland. Cleveland is wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service for violating the terms of his bond in federal court.

On February 8th a warrant was issued for Cleveland after he failed to report to a halfway house for drug treatment. Cleveland’s bond violation stems from being charged with possession with the intent to distribute heroin. Cleveland is a 34 year old white male standing approximately 6’00” and weighing 180 pounds. He has blond hair and hazel eyes.

Cleveland is believed to be hiding in the west side of Cleveland and possibly in Parma. Fugitive Of The Week Believed To Be In Akron

The U.S. Marshal's Northeast Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force says their Fugitive of the Week is hiding out in Akron. 

Davon Irvine, 22, is charged with aggravated robbery and felonious assault in connection to an incident in a Pontiac Street home on December of 2015. According to police, Irvine and another man entered the home with two women. While the women distracted two brothers that lived in the home, Irvine and his accomplice zip-tied them, pistol whipped them, and then took off with more than $1,000 cash and a cell phone. 

A warrant was issued for Irvine back on January 3, 2016, and he's been on the run since the incident. 

Irvine is no stranger to the law. He was released from prison last year after serving time for shooting a man in the face during an argument inside a home on East Avenue in Akron three years ago. 

U.S. Marshals believe Irvine is hiding out in the Akron area, and have narrowed their search to the 1100 block of Copley Avenue.

Fugitive Of The Week With Akron Ties

This week's Fugitive of the Week has Akron ties.

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force says 43 year-old Ahmad Jabr is wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service and the Summit County Sheriff's Office for failing to report to court on a number of weapons and other charges.

He's also accused of violating the terms of his federal probation.

Jabr has connections to Strongsville and Cleveland in addition to Akron.

Jabr is wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service and the Summit County Sheriff's Office. Jabr has failed to report to court for underlying charges of carrying a concealed weapon, having weapons under disability, receiving stolen property and improperly handling firearm in a motor vehicle. Jabr has also allegedly violated the terms of his federal probation.

Jabr is a 43 year old male standing approximately 5'07" and weighing 175 pounds. He has brown eyes and brown hair. Jabr has connections to Strongsville, Akron, and Cleveland.

Fugitive Of The Week Has Akron Ties

This week's "Fugitive of the Week" has Akron ties.

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force says 32 year-old David Eugene Jones is wanted for a federal supervised release violation - on an original charge of cocaine distribution in northern West Virginia.

The U.S. Marshal's Service says he has ties to the Akron area, but also to southern Ohio and West Virginia.

"Fugitive Of The Week" From Akron

This week's Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force Fugitive of the Week is a man with Akron ties.

The task force says Wesley Tucker is wanted on charges linked to a conspiracy to possess methamphetamine with the intent to distribute them.

Tucker is wanted on charges involving over 8 pounds of crystal meth last November.

The task force says Tucker has a last known address in the 600 block of West Exchange Street in Akron.

In November 2015 Tucker conspired to possess over 8 pounds of crystal meth. Tucker is a 39 year old black male standing approximately 6'01" and weighing 200 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Tucker's last known address was in the 600 block of West Exchange St. in Akron.
