:19 - The rumors have been circulating for a year or so, and as of 6 AM Monday morning, it became official: Amazon will open a fulfillment center at the site of the old Rolling Acres Mall. Guest-host Tony Mazur talked about this story as it broke, reading the press release about how this will create 2,500 jobs and wages beginning at $15 an hour.

6:09 - In less serious news, the panel discussed a story about a 35-year-old women in the UK who plans to marry…..a chandelier.

11:35 - Our veterinarian Dr. Gary Riggs stopped by to touch on questions regarding pet dander, drooling, and other forms of furry affection.

20:20 - And finally, Bob Troyer called into the program to recap the weekend that was at the 82nd FirstEnergy All-American Soap Box Derby.

AUDIO Joe Mazur Talks 79th Soap Box Derby

Derby week culminates on Saturday with the annual running of the Soap Box Derby Championship Race at Derby Downs.

President and CEO of the Soap Box Derby Joe Mazur joined Aaron Coleman to talk about all that's going on down at the Derby and what's kept it going in Akron for the past 79 years.

He says it's been a team effort all the way around with the staff and especially the volunteers.

"There are hundreds of volunteers here in the past week just helping and hundreds of volunteers in the community and from around the country," Mazur said. "There's a lot of passion for our program."

Championship Day starts tomorrow at 8am with racers from all across the country and the world converging on Derby Downs with hopes of capturing a World Championship.
