Akron Bridal Shop Owner Sues Hospital

An Akron bridal shop that closed after a nurse visited the shop before she was diagnosed with Ebola is suing the Texas hospital where she worked.

The Dallas Morning News reports that the owners of Coming Attractions Bridal Shop sued Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas for over a million dollars.

She was caring for a patient with Ebola, and the suit says the hospital shouldn't have allowed Vinson and another nurse to have free contact with the outside after being exposed to the virus.

Vinson flew to Northeast Ohio after treating the patient, and the suit says she relied on the hospital's advice before shopping at the bridal shop.
