AUDIO Browns Release Brian Hartline

After one season with the Cleveland Browns, wide reciever Brian Hartline is no longer with the team.

Steve King from Browns Daily Dose.com joined the Sam Bourquin Show to talk about the move and how the team is committed to the four wide recievers they drafted in April.

He said he was not surprised about the move because with a new brain trust in place, moves will be made.

"That's just the way it is," King said. "I think he could have been a tremendous help on this team with all the young receivers and having the ability to teach them about running routes, and catching the ball without having all the physical skills."

Hartline, a GlenOak graduate and former Ohio State Buckeye, had 46 catches for 523 yards and a pair of TD's last season.

AUDIO Steve King: Browns Might Trade Back

The big day is just one day away, it's the Super Bowl in Northeast Ohio, yes we are talking about Draft Day.

Steve King from BrownsDailyDose.com spoke with Sam Bourquin Wednesday and he seems to think that the Browns will not be staying with the #8 overall selection tomorrow night in Chicago, and they might get their quarterback later in the first round.

He says Hue Jackson and former Memphis signal-caller Paxton Lynch crossed paths, and Hue was very impressed with Lynch's size and potential.

"I think maybe when it's all said and done that that's who he's talking about when he says he can mold a quarterback he can draft later," King explained.

Hue worked with Bengals QB's Andy Dalton and AJ McCarron in Cincy most recently before being hired by Cleveland. Lynch is projected as a 1st or 2nd round pick.
