This week the 1590 WAKR Coaches Spotlight shines on Officer Howard Vaughn, the head coach of the Buchtel Griffins' baseball team. 

 Coach Vaughn discussed how he is bringing baseball to the youngsters and helping young people.

"I started in coaching six years ago and I saw a dying Buchtel baseball program, and I wanted to get it back started," he said. 

For this week's edition of the Coaches Spotlight, we headed over to Stow-Munroe Falls High School to catch up with head baseball coach Aaron DeBord.

This week for our 1590 WAKR Coaches Spotlight on the Sam and Brad Show, we head on out to Revere to speak with head softball coach Bob Mosher. 

  His team got out to a good start in Myrtle Beach going 4-1 in a recent tournament.

For the inagural edition of the Sam and Brad Show Coaches Spotlight, we take a look at former Barberton boys' basketball coach Ken Rector.

He will be inducted into the Greater Akron Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame.

Rector coached for 20 years for his alma mater, Barberton High School.
