On the Friday edition of the Sam and Brad Show Podcast, 

Sam and Brad spoke with TK Griffith of Hoban (around 32 minutes),  Dean Rahas of Revere (43:20),  Joe Noga of Cleveland.com on the Indians and previewing the Winter Meetings (starting off) , and Steve Doerschuk of the Canton Repository to preview the Browns and Panthers (around 11 minutes). 

Sam and Brad talked to George Thomas from the Akron Beacon Journal to talk about the firing of Terry Bowden right off the jump, At 12:51 they talked to Brian Bidlingmyer about this weekend's Greynolds Classic, and at 20 minutes they spoke with Rob Oller of the Columbus Dispatch.

Sam and Brad spoke with Jackie Greynolds Jr. to talk about the Barberton Magics and the upcoming Greynolds Classic tournament on Saturday.

All the matchups are at Barberton High School at the Purple Palace.

All proceeds from the event go towards community programs in Barberton as well as stroke research, as Jack Greynolds Sr, for whom this tournament is named. He passed away from a stroke in 2005. 

The elder Greynolds led Barberton to a state title in 1976.

The 12th annual Greynolds Classic boys' basketball tournament will be making its way to the Magic City of Barberton this Saturday and two of the participating schools' coaches spoke with Sam Bourquin about their respective teams Thursday afternoon.

Gene Schindewolf, head coach of Manchester High likes his team's fast start.

Manchester takes on Maumee Country day to open the tourney at 11am.

First-year head coach with the GlenOak Golden Eagles Matt Hackenberg talked as well about what he likes from his team and the matchup in the Greynolds against Hoban at 6 p.m.

For more information on the Greynolds Classic, click here. The tournament is in memory of beloved Barberton boys basketball coach Jack Greynolds, Sr., who won a state championship in Barberton in 1976. He passed away from a stroke in 2005.

Proceeds from the event go towards youth programs in Barberton and stroke awareness.
