The under construction Pro Football Hall of Fame Village has tapped a partner to help attract youth sports events.

LEGACY Global Sports will help bring events, camps and leagues to the Hall of Fame Village's youth sports complex.

The Hall of Fame Village sports complex will include nine state-of-the-art turf fields that will be multi-purposed, lighted and equipped with the latest technology and video capabilities. The sports complex will include full world-class amenities, a football sized concourse area and a championship field with 1,500 seats. Three fields are currently under construction and slated to open on June 1, 2016. The new fields will include two turf surfaces and one field with natural grass. The total number of fields in the sports complex will grow to five when additional fields open on May 1, 2017. All of the new fields will be completed by May 2018.

"Hall of Fame Village will be a top destination for athletes participating not only in football but lacrosse, soccer and other field based sporting events," LEGACY Global Sports President John St. Pierre shared. "Our company looks forward to attracting athletes from around the world who will come to Canton to compete at a place that espouses excellence."

LEGACY Global Sports has starting booking large events for 2016, 2017 and 2018 and will have national and international events, including championships and tournaments, each weekend from spring through fall. Athletes competing at the Hall of Fame Village sports complex will also have access to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the world's premier sports museum that anchors the campus in Canton.
