AUDIO Notre Dame Ready For Longhorns

As the Notre Dame Fighting Irish prepare to take on the Texas Longhorns for the season opener, coach Brian Kelly knows the biggest question mark remains if they can win on the road in a high-profile matchup.

Mike Frank from Irish Sports Daily joined Sam to talk about the matchup with Charlie Strong's Horns and how he will juggle the quarterbacks, Malik Zaire, and DeShone Kizer.

Frank says Coach Kelly didn't tip his hand in the press conference, but he anticipates both young men playing and a lot of who plays more depends on Texas' defensive schemes.

"That seems to be the game plan, whether it will work or not remains an interesting battle," he said.

Texas and Notre Dame play Sunday night at 7:30pm in Austin.
