"One of our top goals is making sure we're healthy all the way through the season,  win one game at a time, an our ultimate goal is to win the Suburban League."

The Indians won 9 games in 2015, and are looking to make a solid run not only in the league, put in the postseason as well.

Chouinard also pointed to the tough Suburban League slate and how each week is a tough matchup between well-coached teams with talented and hard-working players.

AUDIO J.J. Cooper Analyzes MLB Trades

A flurry of trade activity converged on Major League baseball over the past few days, and the Indians made some moves, acquiring Andrew Miller from New York and Brandon Guyer from the Tampa Bay Rays.

J.J. Cooper, Managing Editor from Baseball America joined the Sam Bourquin Show to talk about the big trades that not only went on with the Tribe, but with other teams as well.

The Texas Rangers also made some moves as well, including Jonathan Lucroy and Carlos Beltran.  Cooper said the Rangers' agressiveness put them in position to make a move.

"The Rangers just gave themselves a significantly better shot of making the World Series, which is the goal for everyone," Cooper said.

As far as the hometown Indians,  Cooper seems to think they have a clear path to the playoffs and they did enough to make a World Series run.
