Ahead of the ALDS Game #1, first base coach and former Tribe great Sandy Alomar Jr talked about throwing out the first pitch tonight.

He also talked about he and the club being thankful for another opportunity to be in the postseason.

"It means a lot to us," Sandy explained.  "I'm very proud of this team."

Former Cleveland Indians catcher and current first base coach Sandy Alomar, Jr spoke with Sam Bourquin ahead of the Indians and Red Sox tonight at Progressive Field.

The Indians are leaders in the AL Central and will face the Red Sox at 7:10 tonight on 1590 WAKR.

The ALDS is just one day away, and one of their most popular players from those memorable mid-90's teams joined the show today to talk about the current club as they prepare to face the Sox at the corner of Carnegie and Ontario.

Sandy Alomar Jr. current first base coach of the Cleveland Indians joined Sam to talk about the psyche of the club, and starting pitcher for Game 1 Trevor Bauer.
