The man charged with stabbing a man to death outside Chapel Hill Mall in August made his first court appearance in Summit County on Friday.

Deandre Baskerville was arraigned Friday morning in the court of Summit County Common Pleas Judge Mary Margaret Rowlands.

Baskerville was arrested on a bus in West Virginia in September and brought back to Akron, and is still being held on one-million dollars' bond.

Police say Baskerville was fighting with the victim, 35 year-old Terrance Rogers.

Rogers went into the mall after being stabbed, and collapsed near the "Finish Line" athletic shoe store.

Baskerville has his first pre-trial hearing on November 18th.
