New head coach of the Walsh University Cavaliers John Fankhauser spoke with Sam and Brad ahead of the 2018 season. 

First year head coach of the Walsh Cavaliers Dan Pifer joined the Sam and Brad Show to talk about his football team heading into 2017.

The Walsh Cavaliers will be set to take on Michigan Tech in their season opener Saturday September 3, and with their collection of talent on both sides of the ball, they will look to make some strides.

Ted Karras, head coach of the Walsh Cavaliers made an appearance on the Sam Bourquin Show Wednesday to talk about his squad and what they've been doing leading up to this point.

"Overall we've had a good camp, we're excited to get it going," Karras said. 

The Cavaliers, in Division II will have a tough slate ahead of them including their opener in Michigan, and of course, their matchup with rival Malone.

 Offensively, Walsh will rely on Reid Worstell from GlenOak, former walk-on at Ohio State, along with tailbacks Calvin Gordon and former Ellet standout Aaron Male.
