The 1590 WAKR male Student Athlete of the Week is Brian Schultz. Brian is a Senior at Firestone High School and a member of the Falcons golf team.

Golf was a family affair for Brian, as he picked up the sport from his father and grandfather alike. His older brother also had a passion for the game. Brian said one of his best memories of playing golf for Firestone was being able to play his freshman year during his brother's senior Year. That sense of comradery between he and his teammates will be one of the biggest things he takes away from his time playing golf for Firestone.

While playing golf for Firestone, Brian has accumulated quite a list of accomplishments including: 4 years of Varsity Golf, 1st team his Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior years, and US Army Academic/Athletic Scholar award winner. He earned Rookie of the Year his Freshman year and the MVP award for his Sophomore and Junior seasons.
