What people may not know is he was an 18-year veteran, serving in both World War II and Korea. Tony Mazur, who’s filling in for Ray, had the pleasure of interviewing him.

No Belle or Lofton or Baerga or Thome or Sizemore or Sabathia or Lindor or Kluber or three Ramirez players (Manny, Alex, Jose) don’t happen. Jim Clark has a book out about that season, from Ten Cent Beer Night to possibly moving the team to New Orleans or Seattle.
