AUDIO Chris Ransom Talks Latest Mock Draft
With the NFL draft just a short couple of months away, a lot of the latest mocks have the Browns taking a signal-caller with the #2 overall pick.
Chris Ransom, founder and CEO of Draft Utopia joined Brad Russell in the Average Sports Show to talk about how he believes the Browns will take California quarterback Jared Goff with their first selection in April.
"I think Goff has faced greater competition than Carson Wentz (of North Dakota State)," said Ransom.
"There's a lot to like in terms of arm strength, leadership, and I still think Goff is the best quarterback in this draft."
Ransom also has the Browns taking an offensive lineman to help shore up that position and protect the young quarterback, regardless of who that may be.
As far as some of the other storylines going into the draft, Ransom says OSU wide receiver Braxton Miller is a top 60 pick to New England
"It's strange how the Draft works, but it would be a good fit," says Ransom.
