UPDATE Falls Shooting Report Prompts Brief Woodridge School Lockdown

Written by

Cuyahoga Falls police say a man was found shot after an apparent dispute at State and Quick Roads.

Woodridge Schools had a short lockdown, after Falls police told them about the shots fired call.

Woodridge superindentent Walter Davi tells WAKR.net that the lockdown at Woodridge was lifted 20 minutes later, about 5 minutes before scheduled dismissal, and students were dismissed as scheduled.

Falls police say the shooting victim was conscious when they arrived, and named a suspect.

He's now in custody, and charges are pending.

Police say the shooting was apparently due to the dispute, and that no one else is in danger.
