Man Arrested After Jackson Mobile Home Fire

A man has been arrested in connection with a Jackson Township mobile home fire last month, and faces drug charges as well.

North Canton police say 41 year-old Joshua Stevens was arrested this/Tuesday morning and booked into the Stark County Jail.

He faces charges of aggravated arson in connection with the mobile home fire on Forty Corners Rd. NW on January 15th.

Stevens also faces drug manufacturing and chemical-related charges.

(Jackson Township Fire Department, news release) The Jackson Township Fire Department and the Jackson Township Police Department responded to a mobile home fire at 10146 Forty Corners Rd, NW, on January 15, 2016.

Joshua S. Stevens, age 41, was arrested on February 23, 2016, at 930 hours by the US Marshalls without incident and booked into the Stark County Jail with the following charges:

F-1 Aggravated Arson 2909.02 (A1)
F-2 Aggravated Arson 2909.02 (A2)
F-2 Illegal Manufacturing of Drugs 2925.04 (AC3)
F-3 Illegal Assembly or Possession of Chemicals 2925.04 (1A)

The investigation was conducted by the Jackson Township Detective Bureau, the Jackson Township Fire Prevention Bureau and the State Fire Marshal.
