Stow police are looking for a man who tried to rob a Kent Road bank.
Officers say the man approached a teller at the Chase Bank on Monday and demanded a large sum of money.

The teller said she didn't have the money, and the would-be robber then ran eastbound on Kent Road.
Anyone with information is being asked to call Stow Police.

(Stow Police Department, news release) On September (19), 2016, at 2:00 p.m., a white male described as having a thin build and approximately 5'4", entered the Chase Bank, 4499 Kent Road, Stow, and approached a teller. The male then demanded a large sum of money and quickly fled when the teller responded that she did not have it. He was last seen running eastbound on Kent Road.
Stow Police Officers and agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation responded to the scene.
Officers searched the area but the male was able to leave the area without being apprehended.
No weapon was seen. No one was injured.
The incident is under investigation and no further details are available at this time.
