Cavaliers superstar LeBron James has kept his hat out of the political arena throughout his rise to fame... until now, that is. 

On Saturday, James published an op-ed via the Business Insider website, stating the reasons why he's endorsing Hillary Clinton for President of the United States. 

"Only one person running (for president) truly understands the struggles of an Akron child born into poverty," James wrote. 

Hillary Clinton, meanwhile, is steering her campaign through northeast Ohio again on Monday, where she'll speak at an event in Akron. No word on whether or not LeBron will join her.
