Cops Looking For Shooting Suspect

Akron police and the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Tas Force could use a helping hand finding an Akron fugitive.

Police say 25-year old Finess Terry is wanted after a gunfight in a car parked on the 300 block of Chittenden Avenue in March. One of the bullets sailed into a nearby house and injured a 63-year old woman sitting inside; she was treated for non life-threatening injuries.

Terry is considered armed and dangerous and anyone with information should call police and not attempt to stop Terry themselves.

(Akron PD) The Akron Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force are asking for assistance from the public for information that could lead to the arrest of Finess A. Terry. Terry is wanted for felonious assault and discharging firearm into habitation.

On March 24, 2016 around 6:00pm, Finess Terry was involved in a gunfight with other males in a car in the 300 block of Chittenden Street. A stray bullet went through a house on Chittenden Street and struck a 63 year old female inside. The female victim was transported to a local hospital where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Finess Terry is a black male, 25 years old, 5'09" and 160 lbs. His last known address was on Duane Avenue in Akron.

Finess Terry should be considered armed and dangerous.
