(Cleveland Office of the FBI) On Monday, October 15, 2018, at 12:53 AM, a 911 call was received from Barron, Wisconsin. Upon arrival, law enforcement officials found two adults deceased, and their 13-year-old daughter, Jayme Closs, missing.

Closs is now considered endangered. If you have any information regarding the whereabouts of Jayme Closs, or if you have had contact with Closs, please contact the Wisconsin Department of Justice Child Abduction Response Team tipline at 1-855-744-3879.

A Missing Adult Alert has been issued by the Weathersfield Township Police Department for Trumbull County and surrounding counties: Ashtabula, Geauga, Mahoning, and Portage.

Be on the lookout for a missing adult. On October 18, 2018 at 4:00 AM, Mr. Fusco drove away from his residence and has not returned.

The incident took place in Trumbull County, OH on Lake Shore Terrace in the city of Warren.

The adult's name is Robert Fusco and the individual is missing. The adult is a White male, age 75, is 5' 3" tall, weighs 170 lbs., and has brown hair and brown eyes. Mr. Fusco suffers from Dementia.

The vehicle involved is a beige 2007 Chevrolet HHR with OH plate number FBB7916. Similar vehicle pictured.

The Akron Zoo is set to open two new areas in the next two years. Pride of Africa is scheduled to open in summer of 2019 and Wild Asia will open in summer 2020.

Pride of Africa will include a new, expanded habitat for a pride of African lions, Speke’s gazelles, white storks and a new feeding area for goats. Pride of Africa will immerse guests in the culture of the Maasai living in the Southern Rift Valley of Kenya and the wildlife who share their land. Predators, prey, a special Maasai livestock enclosure called a boma, an expanded train ride and a spray pad will offer a rich learning experience for children and adults alike.

In Wild Asia, a new spacious Sumatran tiger habitat will allow for a pair of tigers. The red pandas will also have a larger habitat that will be home to a duo of red pandas. Due to popular demand, Wild Asia will also welcome a pair of white-cheeked gibbons.

In Pride of Africa and Wild Asia, the zoo expects many species will have breeding recommendations from the Species Survival Plan (SSP) from the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). The SSP is a scientifically-managed breeding program that works to ensure a healthy, genetically diverse population of critically endangered species.

“With the opening of Pride of Africa and Wild Asia, your Akron Zoo has come full circle,” said Doug Piekarz, president and CEO at the Akron Zoo. “With these two projects comes the renovation of Tiger Valley – the oldest area currently at the Akron Zoo, which opened in 1998. Combined, these two wildlife experiences will be the largest expansion to date. We’re thrilled to offer our guests an opportunity to connect with and learn about new species, as well as current animals in new habitats.”

Together, Pride of Africa and Wild Asia are a combined $17 million project. Thanks to the Akron Zoo’s Summit County levy support, $11 million is committed. The zoo is also raising funds through their ROAR campaign, a comprehensive campaign with contributions from individual donors, corporate partners and private foundations.

The Akron Zoo is approaching $3 million of the $6 million fundraising goal, thanks to support from lead donors, the Lehner Family Foundation and Robert. O. & Annamae Orr Family Foundation and many others. The zoo has also received a $500,000 appropriation from the State of Ohio. Still no winner in the Mega Millions after Tuesday night's drawing, and with that the jackpot has jumped another $201 Million to roughly $900,000,000, and is expected to grow even larger with increased Lotto sales. 

The winning numbers for Tuesday's $667 Million pot were 3-45-49-61-69 and Mega Ball 9. 

As for the Powerball, the jackpot has ballooned to roughly $345 Million for Wednesday night's drawing.  

Tuesday's jackpot broke the previous Mega Millions record of $656 Million back in March 2012.

The largest lottery jackpot in the U.S. was a $1.586 Billion Powerball prize that was claimed in January 2016.

Queitin Tyler, 34, of Akron has been sentenced to life in prison by Summit County Common Pleas Court Judge Alison McCarty for the fatal shooting of Darian Hardison outside of the Halftime Sports Pub in Akron on October 20, 2017. 

According to court documents, Tyler got into an argument with Derrick Comby outside of the Halftime, after which he went back inside the bar and got a gun from a friend, walked outside again, and fired several shots. Comby, the original target according to reports, was hit in the stomach and survived. Hardison, a friend of Comby's, was shot and killed at the scene. 

Tyler claimed self defense in the shooting, but on September 24th, was found guilty by a Summit County Common Pleas Court jury of two counts of murder with gun specifications, two counts felonious assault, and carrying a concealed weapon charge. Meanwhile, 32-year-old Le"Zonn Gervins of Akron, pled guilty back in July of 2018 to obstructing justice and is due for sentencing later in October. 

Tyler is not eligible for parole for 23 years.

The Village of Windham is providing bottled water which is available at the Village Fire Station for pickup.  Village officials are taking the necessary steps to correct the problem as soon as possible.

Manganese has entered the distribution system at amounts above health advisory levels due to inadequate treatment.  The Village of Windham water system is making adjustments to its treatment processes to help reduce manganese levels. Officials are working closely with local and state public health agencies to address and resolve the situation. Officials will keep residents informed as the situation is resolved.

The Summit County Sheriff's Office says they've arrested two men accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of merchandise and other items from the MAPS Air Museum in Green. 

The alleged theft happened back on October 3rd, when the two teenages walked in, one acting as a lookout and the other stuffing things like helmets, goggles, oxygen masks, and more in a bag.

A press release was sent out Monday and the suspects' pictures were posted to social media. Later in the day the two were arrested. Their names haven't been released.

The Summit County Sheriff's Office is looking for help finding two suspects (pictured) that walked into the MAPS Air Museum for a tour back on October 3rd and walked out with thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from the facility. 

According to Inspector Bill Holland's press release, the museum, located at 2260 International Parkway in the City of Green, reported several missing items, including helmets, goggles, oxygen masks, helicopter controls, and other irreplaceable items. 

The suspects were captured on security footage, and now detectives are asking anyone who might recognize them or have more information to please contact them at 330-642-2131. 

I-71 South was closed for about six hours Sunday afternoon into the evening after a multi-vehicle crash involving a semi near Route 18 in Montville Township.

Reports are the accident started in the Northbound lanes of 71, when the driver of the semi truck swerved to the left and hit a Nissan Rogue. Both vehicles hit the guardrail, entered the median, and then the semi continued Northbound onto 71 South.

The driver of the semi is reportedly in stable condition at Metro Health in Cleveland. The driver of the Rogue, that ended up flipping onto its roof and coming to a stop in the southbound lanes, was taken to Medina Hospital and is in stable condition there. A third driver, who was heading 71 South and was hit by the Rogue that landed in the southbound lanes, is in Critical Condition at Akron City Hospital.

Gas prices in Akron are down nearly 12 cents over the past week, averaging out at $2.60 per gallon of regular unleaded, as of Sunday night. That's 9 cents less than the Cleveland area, and 8 cents below the statewide average.

Patrick DeHaan with GasBuddy.com says that the Great Lakes states are reaping the most benefits of the recent drop in oil prices as the area has seen the largest drop in the price at the pump.

Gasoline prices in Akron have fallen 11.7 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.60/g yesterday, according to GasBuddy's daily survey of 372 stations in Akron. This compares with the national average that has fallen 2.6 cents per gallon versus last week to $2.88/g, according to GasBuddy.

Average gasoline prices on October 15 in Akron have ranged widely over the last five years:
$2.32/g in 2017, $2.15/g in 2016, $2.37/g in 2015, $3.10/g in 2014 and $3.34/g in 2013. 

Including the change locally during the past week, prices yesterday were 28.1 cents per gallon higher than a year ago and are 14.1 cents per gallon lower than a month ago. The national average has increased 2.6 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 42.5 cents per gallon higher than a year ago.

Cleveland- $2.69/g, down 12.0 cents per gallon from last week's $2.81/g.
Pittsburgh- $3.13/g, down 1 cent per gallon from last week's $3.14/g.
Ohio- $2.68/g, down 11.0 cents per gallon from last week's $2.79/g.

"The last week has seen a flurry of events to keep an eye on, while the recent drop in oil prices materialized at pumps across the country, but no where have the declines been as large as Great Lakes states," said Patrick DeHaan, head of petroleum analysis for GasBuddy. "Great Lakes states have wreaked havoc on the national average, sending it down considerably as stations there have passed along the recent drop in oil prices relatively quickly. However, while Great Lakes motorists were seeing lower prices, average prices along the West Coast, mainly in Washington and Oregon, have started to jump after a natural gas pipeline explosion last week pushed some refineries to close. In addition, events in Saudi Arabia bear monitoring as the West claims the Kingdom is behind the disappearance of a Washington Post journalist and could rile tensions between the world's largest oil consumer and one of the world's largest oil producers. I believe gas prices in most areas East of the Rockies will drift lower, but keep an eye out on these new developments. I don't know that I've ever seen autumn so rife with possible volatility at the pump as we're seeing now."
