The Ohio State Buckeyes men's basketball team is coming off a win Illinois in Champaign 68-63 in overtime. With that win, OSU moves to 14-8 overall and 6-3 in the Big Ten.

Former Canton McKinley Bulldog and Ohio State guard  and current Buckeye radio analyst Ron Stokes joined the Sam Bourquin Show on a "Feel Good Friday" to talk about the win and what it means for Thad Matta's squad.

Stokes said the Buckeyes got a big win on the road, which hasn't come easy for them.

"They need to continue to make a strong case for the NCAA Tournament with their resume," Ronnie said. "They have some work to do, but you picked up a great win against Kentucky, and hopefully they can have a strong showing this weekend against Maryland."

The Buckeyes will take on Maryland Sunday afternoon. Tip-off is at 1 p.m. on 1590 WAKR.
