It's coming. The snap of the ball, the crack of the pads, and the roar of the crowd. College football season is just around the corner and the nation's top teams are looking to get into the College Football Playoff and capture a national championship.
College Football insider Phil Steele, owner of Phil Steele Publications joined the Sam Bourquin Show to talk about the upcoming season and some of the top teams heading into the 2016-17 season.
Phil said that despite losing some top-tier talent, the Ohio State Buckeyes will be strong once again, and the Big 10 will continue to be competitive, including the Nebraska Cornhuskers, under the direction of second-year head coach Mike Riley.
