AUDIO Indians Prepare To Face Nats

Written by

The Cleveland Indians are prepared for a short series against the Washington Nationals before they begin an 11-game homestand at Progressive Field starting with the Angels Thursday.

Al Pawlowski from Sports Time Ohio and Indians Live host joined the Sam Bourquin Show to talk about the Tribe as they head down this stretch in August.

He says manager Terry Francona deserves a lot of credit for handling his starters and bullpen amongst other things.

"The other thing  he does extremely well is how he deals with young players," Pawlowski said. "Look at Tyler Naquin, and how he's developed this year."

Naquin is in contention for Rookie of the Year in 2016 after struggling with some injuries early on.

The Indians will take on the Nationals tonight at 7:05pm on 1590 WAKR.
