Ellet High School has a new football coach, a familiar face to fans of the Orangemen.

Longtime assistant coach Chuck Shuman joined the Sam and Brad Show and Sam Bourquin Monday afternoon to talk about being named the coach and what he looks to bring to the program.

Shuman takes over for coach Joe Yost, who was the head man at Ellet for 38 years.  Shuman was an assistant coach for 32 of those years.

Josh Lewenberg from TSN Radio in Toronto, ON joined Sam Bourquin from the Sam and Brad Show on Monday to break down the Cavaliers and Raptors.

Jim Chones from the Cavaliers Radio Network joined the show as well to break the matchup down.

A collection of high school football talent from across the Buckeye State will descend upon Paul Brown Tiger Stadium on Saturday.

Tournament Director Steve Channell spoke with Sam and Jay Brophy to talk about the event and what fans can expect tomorrow afternoon.

Admission for the two games is only $10, with all-star players in Divisions 4-7 playing against each other at 12 noon and Divisions 1-3 all stars playing against each other at 4pm.

The event is put on by the Ohio HS Football Coaches Association.

Browns beat writer Scott Petrak from the Elyria Chronicle Telegram spoke with Sam Bourquin and Jay Brophy as they discussed the Browns' first round of the draft on Thursday night.

The Browns selected Myles Garrett with the first overall pick, as well as Michigan's  Jabrill Peppers with the 25th overall pick and David Njoku out of the University of Miami 29th overall.

Sam, Brad, and Justin got into the "Pick 3" edition of the Wager of the Day.

Former NBA Referee Tim Donaghy spoke with Sam and Brad Wednesday to talk about the state of the NBA and the tough task of officiating at the highest level.

When asked about why coaches and players are subject to a substantial fine when they question an officials' call, Donaghy said the league doesn't want to face embarrassment.

This conversation stems from a postgame rant from Memphis Grizzlies' head coach David Fizdale who was hit with a $30,000 fine for his critical comments after his team's loss to the Spurs in Game #2.

Sports Time Ohio in-game reporter for the Cleveland Indians Andre Knott spoke with Sam Bourquin on a Friday afternoon to talk about the Indians as they head into their series with Detroit.

They lost to the Chicago White Sox 10-4 last night at Progressive Field, and the team's had it's struggles as of late, but it's too early to worry, says Andre.
