A familiar name looks to replace another familiar name in state politics.
Vernon Sykes plans to run for the Ohio Senate in a seat currently held by former Akron mayor Tom Sawyer. Sykes joined the Ray Horner Morning Show to discuss his reason to throw his proverbial hat in the ring.
Emilia Sykes, the daughter of Vernon, currently holds her father's old seat in the House.
