1590 WAKR Student Athlete of the Week: Jada Wright

This week, our 1590 WAKR Female Student Athlete of the Week is Jada Wright, a senior basketball player from CVCA High School.
She says her coaches and teammates have grown closer on and off the court throughout her time with the Royals.
"It's just wonderful to go out and play with them every Wednesday and Saturday, and even during practice," she explained.
Wright says each student athlete has a specific role on the team, and as a senior,it's her job to keep the rest of her teammates are energized throughout the game.
"I bring a lot of vocal energy to the floor and I am always encouraging my teammates," she says.
Jada is a three-sport athlete for CVCA in volleyball, basketball, and track.
Wright says her goal is to become a better teammate each day, and for her team to finish first or second in conference play.
We wish her the best of luck in all her future endeavors.
