Browns beat reporter Nate Ulrich joined the Sam and Brad Show to talk about the arrival of free agent Dez Bryant to Berea as well as the Browns as they get ready for the Buffalo Bills tomorrow. 

As of this writing, Bryant has not signed with a team yet, and is visiting the Browns to see if they fit into his short-term plans.

Akron North head football coach Sonil Haslam spoke with the Sam and Brad Show to talk about the new weight room at North High School.

 The facility was provided by Fully Equipped in Akron. The weight room was unveiled to the students on Wednesday. All North students will have access to the facility.

He (Coach Haslam) says it will be a game changer for the young men on the football team.

"It's just super exciting for not only the team, but all the kids at North," he said. 

Buchtel Head Coach Ricky Powers joined 1590 WAKR to talk about his ballclub for our Thursday edition of Camp Days.

They open up the 2018 season against Avon. 

Play-by-play preseason Voice of the Browns on News 5 Jay Crawford joined the Sam and Brad Show to discuss the Browns, some of the tempers flaring during training camp, and the Bills, who are the opponent for preseason game #2.

Radio Voice of the Browns Jim Donovan spoke with the Sam and Brad Show Tuesday to talk about the coordinators Gregg Williams (defense) and Todd Haley (offense) and their testiness during camp over the last couple days.

He also discussed the Browns and what we can see from them in their second preseason game against Buffalo on Friday.

New head coach of the Stow Bulldogs Tom Phillips spoke with 1590 WAKR to preview his team for the upcoming season!

 They start off the 2018 season with Kent Roosevelt August 24.

Golf Channel contributor and author John Feinstein caught up with the Sam and Brad Show to talk about Brooks Koepka winning the PGA Championship and the hard charge from Tiger Woods at the end of the tournament.

He also talked about Tiger's legacy and dominance, saying there will never be another one like him.

Justin Todd of the Wadsworth Grizzlies caught up with WAKR to talk about the Wadsworth Grizzlies for our Monday edition of Camp Days.

The high school camp reports have begun as we take a trip to the Magic City of Barberton to catch up with head coach Tony Gotto and players Gavin Krska and Kionnie Dukes.

Coach Gotto talked with Sam and Brad during the Gridiron Gathering about the expectations of the season after a fantastic 2017.

Ari Wasserman of the Athletic joined the Sam and Brad Show to talk about the latest in the Urban Meyer situation.

College football writer Bill Bender spoke with Sam and Brad to talk about OSU head football coach Urban Meyer being placed on paid administrative leave in the wake of the Zach Smith domestic abuse situation.

A report from Brett McMurphy stated that Meyer knew of Smith's abuse of his ex-wife Courtney and did not take immediate action.  Meyer said he knew nothing of the allegations against Smith, who was a former receivers coach for the Buckeyes during Big 10 Media Days 10 days ago.

Day #1 of the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational was a solid one for eight-time tournament champion Tiger Woods, who shot a 4-under 66 at the South Course Thursday.

Woods spoke with the media after his round, where he was paired up with Australian golfer and Ohio resident Jason Day.

American Kyle Stanley is currently in second place at 7-under par shooting a 63 at Firestone Thursday.

He too spoke with the media after his round, saying the course suits his game pretty well.

Ian Poulter is currently in the lead heading into Friday at 8-under par.

College football analyst and reporter Brett McMurphy joined the Sam and Brad Show to talk about his latest report alleging OSU head football coach Urban Meyer indeed knew about domestic violence allegations levied against Zach Smith, a former receivers coach in 2015.

He (Meyer) said during Big Ten Media Days he was unaware of any allegations or issues involving Smith and his ex-wife Courtney.

The 25-year-old Wegner takes over from longtime head coach John Gramuglia, who coached Wegner in HS.
