2019 Camp Report: Barberton Magics

Our 2019 Camp Reports continue with the Barberton Magics, coming off another strong season in 2018.

8:37 - White supremacist symbols seem to be increasing this day in age due to the influx of social media. Ray and Tony talked about what’s known as “trolling,” and how toxic online culture has crept into the mainstream.

14:48 - Bob DiBiasio from the Tribe joined the program, and he talked about the progression of Carlos Carrasco, regression of Corey Kluber, and if the Indians will put together an Old Timers’ Game anytime soon.

19:47 - Ray mentioned a list of the friendliest and unfriendliest states in the union. Friendliest was in the Land of 10,000 Lakes, and the unfriendliest is the state with the Finger Lakes.

20:22 - The Indians made it close, but ultimately fell to the Red Sox last night, 7-6. Francisco Lindor, who could have been the winning run, was caught stealing and costed the Tribe the game, but Ray and Tony praised Frankie and the team for their aggressiveness.

Baker Mayfield started and threw a quick touchdown, but a sleepy Tony talked about the feel-good story in Damon Sheehy-Guiseppi and his punt return for a touchdown.
